Villa Grande is located within a 2-minute walk of all amenities. 3 places to eat, a large mini-market, a chemist, 2 butchers and one of the only wood-fueled oven bakeries left here on the island. There is also an English-speaking hairdresser in the next village of Adele.
The village of Pigi is unique. It has serenity and tradition and yet is lively and within easy access to everything. It’s a great location for country walks and cycling. Discover the banana plantations and many churches in the area or head off to the local beach just 20 - 25 minutes by foot or a few minutes by car. You will find miles of coastline where you can relax on your own or enjoy one of the organised beaches with sunbeds and beach service.
The main town and the wonderful Old Town of Rethymno, including its quaint harbour are 15 minutes by car or there is a local regular bus service that takes you directly there.
